I am a recent graduate of Susquehanna University with a major in broadcast communications and a minor in legal studies. I am an avid public speaker, and I constantly participated and excelled in speech and debate tournaments across the country. I have obtained hands-on experience in television broadcasting through multiple internships. I have interned for Fox News Channel, a national news network, as well as ABC-27 WHTM, a local award-winning news station in Harrisburg, PA. During my time as an intern, I had the opportunity to produce, edit and report my own news packages as well as anchor an intern newscast. I have experience with both linear and non-linear editing methods, and I also have the ability to shoot video with dv hd cameras. At Susquehanna, I served as the president of the National Broadcasting Society, and I was actively involed with the radio station, WQSU, where I served as both a news reporter and an on-air personality. I have a passion for television broadcasting and a drive for achievement. I have excellent written and oral communication skills, and I am able to "write for the ear" rather than the eye.
